#jhb_cm My sketchnotes of today’s #CreativeMornings talk by Fiona Ramsay: “Language — Giving Voice to Souls”
Categories NewsAs usual, my trusty Cintiq Companion 2 was on my lap desk in the front row at The Market Theatre (http://markettheatre.co.za/).
NiceWork (http://www.nicework.co.za/nice-blog/), Ross Drakes’s company, puts on all of the Creative Mornings events in Johannesburg. So, of course, their team were there bright and early.
Coffee was made by the third best barista in South Africa. Tasted like the best to me, not third best. But Ross explained that it’s only cos she hasn’t been entering the competition for very long. So chances are she’ll be the best barista before very long.
Which somehow brings us to “Language”, the topic of this morning’s talk, around the world, in a hundred or so places across the planet.
Famed actress, Fiona Ramsay (https://www.facebook.com/fiona.ramsay.1238), who has worked with Hollywood royalty, gave a talk about “Giving Voice to Souls”. In her role as a voice coach, she teaches people to BE the voice they want to portray. This isn’t about “putting on” a voice. It’s about releasing one’s authentic self.
This pic was made live, on the spot, using Photoshop CC2015 on a Wacom Cintiq Companion 2.
